Wild Card Wednesday: Weekend Vibes

It might only be Wednesday, but my mind is forever on the weekend, so I thought I would serve up an easy look that's perfect for more casual weekend days!

Last Sunday, I pulled out my Smart Glamour maxi skirt and paired it with an abstract print crop top and denim jacket for an early dinner out with the family.

The denim jacket gives the skirt a more casual vibe, and the print of the top and sheer green panels on the skirt lighten up the mostly black outfit.

City Safari

Happy Monday, everyone!

For today's look, I wanted to create an urban safari theme. 

This look is comfortable and easy, and the layers are perfect for transitioning between indoors and outdoors.

I love leopard print, but I'm starting to feel on the fence about this particular color/material combo.  I think I prefer the classic camel/black combo in a more substantial fabric.

Citrus With Bite

This spring, I'm really obsessed with wearing white.  As much as I love wearing black, white is a perfect alternative for warmer weather.

For today's look, I paired my white jeans from last year with a pineapple print tank and moto jacket that I recently bought from Peter Som's line for Kohl's.

You've already seen the jacket on the blog a few times - it is quickly becoming a new favorite!!

I paired the look with my beige booties to maintain a neutral line.

For additional pops of color, I added in citrus-hued bracelets and a cute citron clutch that looks a bit like a lemon wedge.

I love the summer citrus theme for warm weather, and I think the white serves as a perfect canvas for the bright colors and helps keep the look from being costumey.

I paired a black ruched mini dress with an ivory knit moto jacket and open-toe booties for a easy rock-n-roll inspired evening look.
