Earthy Glam

During the summer, I love easy clothes that have a bit of a bohemian vibe.  Add in a touch of glamour with gold accessories, and I'm really feeling it.

Yesterday, the family and I went to dinner at a favorite Mexican restaurant and then went across the street to a Route 66 festival that was unexpectedly happening. 

I was feeling lazy and wanted something quick and easy to throw on.  This cool maxi dress was perfect.  I threw a slip on underneath, feathered sandals, and gold accessories, and I was ready!

This dress is getting a lot of mileage this summer, and I'm looking forward to styling it later on for fall!

    Very nice! I like maxis in the summer, too But today I went out to dinner in an Eloquii top that I just love with skinny black pants and sandals, minimal jewelry. Felt good! Just ordered a new Maxi dress from Simply Bee, so there will probably be more maxi-wearing. ;)

    So cute and the dress looks amazing on you, I can't wait to see the other ways your going to style it! But yeah my summer style is dresses, I wear a lot of dresses because there so easy to throw on when it's hot outside.

    I dig the dress and the sandals. Great deal of casual chic here. This outfit, to me, screams casual and lazy Saturday daywear to me. Not that there is anything wrong with that, of course. Anyhow- much love to you on this outfit!

    Thanks Nina! I agree. I was having a case of "I have nothing to wear" today because I just wanted something easy and super comfortable. I ended up reaching for this dress again. It's so perfect! :-)

    Ha, ha!! For reference, I'm a size 12 on bottom and 16 Petite on top. I ordered the large. It is great in the body, but a LITTLE tight in the arms after being washed. It's very comfortable in the arms, but I wish it looked a little looser. I had the dress hemmed before wearing.
