When I bought these pants, I knew that I wanted to think of ways to wear them for day as well as evening. As much as I love evening fashion, realistically, I spend much more of my life in work and casual clothes. To get more use value out of these pants, I have been brainstorming some ideas of how to make these pants work-appropriate.
Pants: LOFT Petites (Available in average length here) |
Sweater: The Limited (Sold out on-line; Similar here) |
Button-down top: The Limited (Available here) |
Heels: Target (Available here) |
All in all, I was quite happy with this look.
Bangle: Target (old) |
Tote: The Limited |

Love how you dressed down the trousers! They, are stunning trousers by the way.
ReplyDeleteI also love wide legged trousers! It really is a stunning suit! You look really good!
ReplyDeleteThe golden brocade does make these pants different. Pretty fun look I'd say while still being classy for work.

Jeans/Pants with voluminous legs can be very lovely, whether wide-leg pants or skirt-like palazzo pants. Even for a petite like yourself, you wear these pants quite well. The peep-toe shoes are an equally sweet touch to compliment such voluminous pants. The red handbag does make the look fun and chic. You're put together very nicely here. Classic Cassandra charm.

Thanks John! The brocade definitely sets these apart!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, John! I always know that you're going to like the wider leg looks - you have classic taste! :-)

I love wide leg trousers! This is a stunning, classy look!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was really disappointed in these pics - the weather was extremely uncooperative which made my hair weird, but I loved this outfit. Completely professional, but it has some personal touches. :-)
ReplyDeleteAgreed about the navy blues too! I would definitely swap the black jeans out for blue next time.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! These have a Katherine Hepburn feel to me that makes me wish I was taller, so I could pull of a long leggy look. Maybe in my next life. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time seeing this outfit, as I apparently didn't comment on it or see it. The black pants and peep-toe shoes are nice, but I like the blazer and the Mandarin-style blouse. Charming style by you here!
