Transitioning a Maxi Dress

I generally think of maxi dresses as warm weather wear, but there's no reason you can't transition a favorite maxi for cooler weather.

Adding a heavier jacket and boots help offset the lighter weight of the dress.

I kept my legs bare in these pics, but to combat the cold, I would simply add some fun tights.  The flash of a printed tight would add flair to a laid-back fall look.

For jewelry, I played with the notion of time by adding an hourglass pendant and infinity ring.
