Skirt: The Limited (Similar here) |
Blouse: New York & Company |
I've had this blouse for a while but have only had a chance to show it on the blog in one grainy photo. The dramatic ruffle is so lovely, and I find asymmetrical hemlines very flattering.

All in all, I was quite happy with this look. It has a mix of romance and edge, that I particularly enjoy.

Necklaces: Target and The Limited |
What's more, this outfit was super comfortable. As I've gotten older, I find comfort increasingly important. Feeling comfortable makes me feel sexy. A flowy top like this disguises areas I'd rather not show off a lot while the deep v-neck and short skirt show off assets I love to flaunt.

P.S. Are you a closed-eye smiler? I fight against this every time I take pictures, but it's often the same as pics from when I was a year old - squinty eye smiler for life! ;-)
You looked sexy! What a great outfit! I love that jacket and the way the top is cut. Glad you two had a great time. I mainly do beauty posts. I admire fashion bloggers. HaHa

Quite sexy edge here. Of course, this is edge that isn't over-the-top or extreme. You played this one very well with the jacket, the chic top, this short skirt, and those peep-toe booties. Sweet! And by the way... I have no problem with ruffles- whether it's ruffles on garments or the chips. :)

Thanks Kim! Thanks for stopping by! I could never do beauty blogging! I'm only okay at make-up and horrible at hair! :-)
