Two-Tone and Cobalt

Today's recent work look is a fun variation on work basics.
Pants:  The Limited (Sold out on-line; may be available in stores)
Blazer:  New York & Company (Similar here)
These two-tone skinny pants are in line with the color blocking trends that has come and gone over the last few years.
Camisole:  LOFT (Sold out on-line; see here)
Scarf:  LOFT (Sold out on-line; may be available in stores)
Bracelets:  LOFT (Sold out on-line; may be available in stores)
Earrings:  Target (Available in stores; see here)
I added a scarf for warmth and my trusty cobalt blue blazer for a pop of color.

The overall look is simple and polished, which keeps the two-tone pants work appropriate.
Clutch:  The Limited (Available here)
Shoes:  Target (old)
Would you wear color blocked pants?

  2. I love the blazer and the top. Unfortunately, I am not liking the pants too much. The modest color blocking of black and gray/grey does add diversion with the Cobalt Blue blazer and black top, but its overall package doesn't fly with me too well. Besides the other pieces, the pumps are lovely.

  3. Thanks John! I wasn't sure about these pants at first because they seemed so different and I wasn't sure if they would be okay for work. In the end, I love that they're different and a little "wild," but that they're still subtle due to the black/grey combo.
