Summer Crush

One of my favorite pairings during summer is black and white with hints of bold and bright, even neon, colors.  Black and white can look so crisp and clean together.  Super bright colors just play up that crispness.

Today on the blog, I'm playing with this pairing in a recent work look and a fun summer combo that I plan to wear to work soon!

Skirt:  Eloquii (Available here)
Blazer:  Eloquii (Available here)
The first look involves a bit of print mixing.  The black and white striped skirt can easily go more serious if it needs to, but I love playing with my wardrobe a little more in the summer.
Top:  Target (Available here)

Shoes:  Target (Similar here and here)

Clutch:  Target (Available here)

Necklace (worn as bracelet):  The Limited

Glasses:  Valentino

This top has such a laid-back bohemian feel, but paired with the midi skirt, it feels more put-together.  I plan on tucking in the top and wearing it with a blazer for work.

I accessorized with a neon yellow necklace worn as a bracelet and a printed clutch to complete the look.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite looks in a while.  I just love it!!

The second look is a lot more subdued, but was such a comfortable work look.
Skirt:  New York & Company (Available here)
When you sit at a desk all day, it helps when you can find clothes that feel polished but that have a lot of stretch.  The scuba pencil skirt and boxy crop top were just so easy.

Wedge sandals weren't necessarily my first choice stylistically for this look, but they were an easy choice for added comfort.
Shoes:  Sugar (Available at Kohl's here)
Necklace:  Target
Cuff:  The Limited

Earrings:  Torrid
Clutch:  The Limited

Midi & Crop Tops

I'm really loving this midi skirt with cutouts from Eloquii.  I've worn it with a tank and jacket and a button down top for work, but my favorite way to wear it is with crop tops.

Today on the blog, I'm pairing it with two different crop tops - a fun gondola print top from Forever 21 and a simpler black crop from Eloquii.
Top:  Forever 21+ (Available here)
Top:  Eloquii (Available here)
With both looks, I added pops of color to the black and beige color palette.

Skirt:  Eloquii (Available here)
Earrings:  The Limited
Glasses:  Valentino
Shoes:  Anne Michelle (purchased from eBay)
I love the print mixing in the first look and how the orange shoes bring out the color of the sunset on the top.

Clutch:  New York & Company

For the second look, I went a slightly edgier direction, pairing the skirt with booties and a mostly all-black palette.
Jacket:  Torrid (Available here)

A green fringe clutch and gem earrings add a pop of color.
Bracelet:  Torrid
Cuff:  New York & Company
Clutch:  The Limited (Available here)

Earrings:  The Limited

Boots:  Target
