*swoon* i absolutely LOVE this dress! it's so cute and versatile!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lizzy! I find it more versatile than I expected!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool outfit. You show some very cool and fun style here. I really like that dress, and I also like the handbag and scarf. I don't really like oxford shoes or brogues, and not sure about wearing those with this dress. I do like the combination, though. Well-styled yet again.

The first thing I thought about when I saw those pants was if you were competing in some marathon at your office or something. Then again, chic peep-toe booties don't exactly make proper running shoes. This outfit provides chic synergy between sporty and classy. You styled this one pretty well, Cassandra. Well done, and much love from Texas! :)

Love it! Would you know if the blouse is still available? I didn't see anything like it on the Target web site. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carla! This blouse is older, but they have a few similar blouses. This one is very similar: http://www.target.com/p/mossimo-womens-popover-blouse-assorted-solids/-/A-15028534#prodSlot=large_2_11
ReplyDeleteThis one doesn't come in the punchy shade, but it has a similar cut and feel.

Ha, ha! Thanks John!
ReplyDeleteThanks John! I'm trying to get out of my own style box a bit - wearing the brogues with this dress is kind of a new concept for me too!
ReplyDeleteThanks much!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how I feel about sporty touches on formal clothing but I think you were able to pull it off well. I have similar pants but the stripe is much more thicker on the side but have never worn them because I haven't had an occasion to wear them. I'm inspired to wear mine but maybe when the weather here isn't too hot. :)

Oh wow I thought this was black and white too but the way that you styled it today you can see the blue showing a little bit more then before, I think it might be the lighter accessories or the fact that you said it was blue that it looks more blue. hehe But yeah I love the casual way you styled it with the scarf and the brogues.

It's chilly here, so I was actually wishing I wore a jacket with this outfit! This weather is not cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nina! Yeah, only after knowing the dress was blue did I really notice how blue it is! lol
