Maxi Skirt for Work

Happy Hump Day everyone!!!
Skirt:  The Limited (Available here)
Hope your week has been spectacular so far!

Today, I broke one of my work style rules and styled a maxi skirt for work.  I've always saved maxi skirts and dresses for casual work days and weekends, but I've been dying to wear my new red maxi.

Tank:  The Limited (Available here)
Blazer:  The Limited (old) (Similar here)
I paired a striped tank and classic suit jacket to give the skirt a more streamlined and professional feel.

A gold belt and gold jewelry complete the look.

Belt:  eBay (Available here)
Clutch:  The Limited
Right hand - Bracelet:  New York & Company; Ring:  Torrid
Left hand - Bracelets:  New York & Company, Target, Claire's

I also got my hair cut, and I'm loving the lightweight ease of my new 'do!  :-)
Earrings:  Torrid
I'll be mixing old pics in with new, so expect to see some various hair lengths over the next couple of weeks.  LOL
Boots:  Target (Available here)
Do you wear maxi skirts or dresses to work?  If so, what is your work dress code?

  1. This is a great maxi skirt outfit. The blazer and peep-toe booties are nice compliments. Looking great yet again.

  2. Your hair looks great! But yeah I think the maxi looks great and work appropriate with the blazer, I think the blazer helps make it more professional. I'm a caregiver so I don't dress up for work but I would love to dress up for work. :)
